Nisaar graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor of Business Science (Finance Honours) degree in 1994.
Thereafter he joined Brimstone Investment Corporation Limited as a key member of the investment management team which led the company to its JSE
listing in 1998. He joined Commlife Holdings in 2002, at the time of formation of Lion of Africa Life Assurance Company Limited. Nisaar is a founder
member of Lion of Africa Fund Managers where he is currently Executive Director and CEO. Nisaar serves on many of the group’s boards and committees
including Commlife Holdings and Lion of Africa Life Assurance Company Limited. He has extensive experience in private equity, start-ups, capital
raising, corporate finance, and investment management. He also manages the group’s private equity fund, African Peoples Investment Company (Pty) Ltd
and is currently completing his MBA at the University of Stellenbosch. |
